I've been thinking (this can't be good) about the heat index. That combination of temperature and humidity. It's 95 but it feels like 103. I've been in the desert and 103 isn't that bad. 95 here in DC sucks. They need to change the heat index to the misery index.
The Misery Index: 1) It feels miserable 2) It sucks 3) It's really sh*tty out 4) It's f-ing awful! Just shoot yourselves and be done with it.
Here in Oregon it's 85 with hardly any humidity. Before you move to Portland, I might also add that starting September 1 it will be 48 and rainy - until the following July 4. I remember DC in the summer well - you all have my sympathies.
